About
Jaehoon Sim is a robotics researcher whose work centers on humanoid robot design, control systems, and advanced actuation mechanisms. Based at Seoul National University (SNU), Sim has made significant contributions to the development and deployment of full-body humanoid platforms capable of operating in real-world environments. His early prominence came through Team SNU's participation in the 2015 DARPA Robotics Challenge Finals, where he co-authored foundational papers on system architecture and control strategies for the THORMANG humanoid robot, works that have collectively garnered nearly 50 citations.
