About
Jesus Tordesillas is a leading roboticist whose work pushes the boundaries of autonomous navigation in the most challenging environments. His research centers on high-speed trajectory planning, state estimation, and resilient autonomy for aerial and ground robots operating in unknown, perceptually-degraded settings. Tordesillas is best known for developing **FASTER**, a fast and safe trajectory planner for UAVs that guarantees collision-free flight even when exploring unmapped spaces—a critical capability for search-and-rescue and industrial inspection.
