Sunan Huang is a robotics and control systems researcher whose work spans rehabilitation robotics, intelligent control, and precision motion systems. He is perhaps best known for his pioneering contributions to human-robot interaction control in rehabilitation robotics, particularly his highly cited 2015 paper on controlling rehabilitation robots equipped with Series Elastic Actuators (SEAs), which has garnered over 355 citations and remains a cornerstone reference in the field.
