Yoshiro Hada is a versatile robotics researcher whose work spans mobile robot navigation, bio-inspired locomotion, infrastructure inspection, and telecare systems. He is perhaps best known for his contributions to indoor navigation, particularly his development of the indoor Global Positioning System (iGPS) for coordinating multiple service robots in office environments—work that has garnered over 50 citations and laid practical groundwork for autonomous delivery robots.
