About
Yaohui Chen is a robotics and automation researcher whose work spans soft robotics, agricultural automation, and robotic assembly systems. Drawing inspiration from nature, Chen has made significant contributions to bio-inspired actuator design, most notably through a series of lobster-inspired hybrid actuators that elegantly combine rigid and soft components to achieve both compliance and precision — a longstanding challenge in robotics.
