Wisnu Jatmiko is an Indonesian computer scientist and robotics researcher whose work spans autonomous systems, swarm robotics, and bio-inspired optimization algorithms. He is perhaps best known for his pioneering contributions to odor source localization, where he applied Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) to guide mobile robots in dynamically changing chemical environments — work that has garnered over 300 citations across multiple studies and laid important groundwork for real-world search-and-rescue and environmental monitoring applications.
