Junichiro Sugihara is a pioneering roboticist whose work is reshaping the frontier of aerial robotics, with a particular focus on modular self-reconfigurable systems and autonomous mid-air assembly. His research addresses a fundamental challenge in the field: the trade-off between agile flight and robust manipulation.
