Junaed Sattar is a pioneering roboticist whose career has been defined by his groundbreaking work in autonomous underwater robotics, human-robot interaction, and underwater computer vision. Best known for his foundational contributions to the AQUA project — an amphibious robot capable of swimming, walking, and open-sea operation — Sattar helped establish one of the most versatile aquatic robotic platforms in the field, with his early AQUA papers accumulating nearly 400 citations combined.
