Koichiro Hayashi is a robotics researcher whose work spans two compelling domains: teleoperated rescue robotics and precision finishing automation. His most influential contributions emerged from Japan's national rescue robot initiative, where he tackled one of the field's most pressing challenges — giving operators reliable, intuitive control in chaotic disaster environments.
