Jongeun Lee is a leading researcher in the field of multimodal miniature robotics, with a focus on designing agile, insect-scale machines that can traverse complex environments. His major contributions center on the development of integrated jumping–crawling robots, such as the JumpRoACH, which can adjust its launch trajectory and self-right to overcome obstacles far larger than itself.
