Zehao Wu is a robotics researcher whose work spans autonomous mobile robotics, medical robotics, and micro/milliscale robotic systems. He first gained recognition during the COVID-19 pandemic through his development of autonomous indoor disinfection robots, combining simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM), ROS-based navigation, and aerosolized disinfection modeling — work that has collectively accumulated nearly 100 citations and demonstrated real-world deployment across hospitals, libraries, and hotels.
