Susumu Kanazawa is a pioneering figure in interventional radiology, whose work centers on the development and clinical translation of robotic systems for computed tomography (CT)-guided needle insertion. His major contributions lie in the creation of the "Zerobot," a remote-controlled robotic platform designed to enhance the precision and safety of percutaneous procedures like biopsy, ablation, and drainage.
