Dr. Satoshi Sakai is a leading roboticist whose work bridges human-robot collaboration and bio-inspired search-and-rescue systems. His research focuses on two key areas: precise cooperative manipulation between humans and robots, and the development of snake-like robots for disaster response and industrial inspection.
