Predrag Milosavljevic is a pioneering figure in anthropomimetic robotics—a field that seeks to replicate not just the appearance, but the inner structures of the human body, including muscles, tendons, bones, and joints. His major contribution is the development and control of the ECCEROBOT, the first truly anthropomimetic robot, which uses antagonistically coupled compliant drives to mimic human physiology.
