About
Prateek Arora is a pioneering roboticist whose research pushes the boundaries of autonomous aerial and marsupial robotic systems. His work centers on three key areas: reconfigurable aerial robots, long-term autonomous field deployment, and multi-robot system-of-systems coordination. Arora’s most notable contribution is the development of the Aspect Ratio-Modular Vertical Take-Off and Landing (ARM-VTOL) aerial robot—a meta-aircraft that can magnetically couple multiple TiltRotor hybrid systems mid-flight, enabling seamless transitions between VTOL and fixed-wing modes.
