About
Mitsushige Oda is a pioneering researcher in space robotics and on-orbit satellite servicing, whose work has fundamentally shaped how humanity approaches autonomous operations in space. Based at NASDA (Japan's National Space Development Agency), Oda played a central role in the landmark ETS-VII mission — the world's first satellite to deploy a robotic arm in orbit — launched in November 1997.
