About

Mingbo Li is a robotics researcher whose work spans semantic mapping, social robotics, and humanoid mechanical design. His most impactful contribution, "Building semantic grid maps for domestic robot navigation" (2020, 29 citations), addresses a critical limitation of traditional occupancy grid maps by enriching them with semantic information, enabling domestic robots to navigate more intelligently in real-world home environments.
