About

Masatugu Iribe is a robotics engineer whose work focuses on assistive and entertainment robotics, with particular emphasis on human-robot interaction and mobility support. His most impactful contribution is the development of a practical robotic follower designed to support home oxygen therapy (HOT) patients. This mobile platform autonomously follows patients during outdoor walks, allowing them to maintain physical strength without the burden of carrying a heavy portable oxygen supplier.
