Jason Shrand is a rising star in surgical robotics, whose work is redefining the boundaries of minimally invasive surgery. His primary research focuses on developing and evaluating novel robotic systems, with a particular emphasis on concentric tube robots and handheld robotic tools for urological procedures. Shrand’s most significant contribution is his pioneering work on transurethral suturing, a critical step in radical prostatectomy.
