About
Hongpeng Yu is a pioneering roboticist whose work bridges bioinspiration and precision engineering to create next-generation micromanipulation and mobile robots. His primary research areas include piezoelectric actuation, bioinspired robotics, and cross-scale motion control. Yu’s most celebrated contribution is the development of a novel class of multilegged piezoelectric robots that mimic biological rowing and walking gaits.
