Farhad Keramat is a researcher at the forefront of distributed robotics, multi-robot systems security, and decentralized technologies. His work bridges the gap between cutting-edge robotics middleware and emerging distributed ledger technologies (DLTs), addressing some of the most pressing challenges in autonomous systems today. Keramat's highly cited 2022 review on distributed robotic systems in the edge-cloud continuum (37 citations) established him as a key voice in ROS 2-based architectures, systematically mapping how robotic systems can be deployed across hybrid edge-to-cloud environments.
