Travis Henderson is an aerospace and robotics engineer whose research focuses on the design and development of transformable unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), with particular expertise in bridging the performance gap between fixed-wing and multi-rotor platforms. His most recognized contribution, the SUAV:Q system, introduced an innovative transformable solar-powered UAV capable of operating in both fixed-wing and quadrotor flight modes, addressing the fundamental trade-off between endurance and maneuverability that has long challenged the field.
