摘要
Abstract Facial emotions can dramatically spiritualize humanoid robots and render them more acceptable to humans. Generally speaking, expressions of the eyes contribute much more to our impressions of a face than any other facial organ. This paper is dedicated to building an inexpensive, animated prosthetic eye prototype, based on spherical space instead of Cartesian space. The eye's topological mechanisms are driven and controlled by a delicate ultrasonic servomotor. Finally, simulations of emotion and experiments with data acquisition are carefully examined and successfully demonstrate the advantages of the proposed innovation.
