Youdi Liu is a pioneering researcher in the field of stretchable and bioinspired electronics, with a primary focus on developing advanced sensory systems for human-machine interfaces, soft robotics, and wearable health monitoring. His most influential work, a 2021 paper on a stretchable and strain-unperturbed pressure sensor, has garnered over 350 citations for solving a critical challenge: enabling accurate tactile monitoring on deformable skins without motion interference.
