John Carlos Rowe is a robotics and remote systems engineer whose career has centered on the development of advanced telerobotic and manipulator technologies for hazardous environments, particularly in space exploration and nuclear applications. Working primarily through Oak Ridge National Laboratory (ORNL), Rowe made significant contributions to NASA's Space Station Program by pioneering dexterous, dual-arm telerobotic systems designed to extend human capability in dangerous extravehicular settings.
