Caleb Escobedo is a roboticist advancing the frontier of physical human-robot interaction (pHRI) by equipping robots with a new kind of sensory intelligence. His research centers on developing novel sensing modalities and control frameworks that allow robots to anticipate, detect, and safely manage contact with humans.
