Laura Ray is an engineering researcher whose work spans control systems theory, autonomous robotics, and polar field robotics. She made an early mark in her field with her 1993 paper on Monte Carlo methods for analyzing control system robustness, which has accumulated over 227 citations and remains a foundational reference for researchers evaluating uncertainty in control design.
