About
Dr. Xuechang Zhou is a leading innovator in the field of soft materials and micro/nano-robotics, with a particular focus on liquid metal-based systems. His research centers on harnessing the unique properties of room-temperature liquid metals (LMs) like Galinstan to create stretchable, self-healing, and reconfigurable electronics, soft robots, and microfluidic devices. A major contribution is the development of robust methods to overcome the inherent stickiness and corrosiveness of LMs, such as coating them with graphene or polydopamine to create nonstick, conductive droplets.
