About

Xu Ren is a pioneering robotics researcher whose work spans agricultural automation, precision manufacturing, and intelligent firefighting systems. Ren’s most impactful contribution is the development, integration, and field evaluation of an autonomous citrus-harvesting robot (2023, 48 citations), a breakthrough addressing critical labor shortages in agriculture by enabling efficient, vision-guided fruit picking.
