About

Wenxu Ai is a rising researcher in the fields of human–robot collaboration, intelligent control systems, and robotic manipulation. Their work focuses on enhancing the safety, precision, and autonomy of robotic systems, particularly in complex and constrained environments. Ai’s most notable contribution is the development of a neural admittance control framework that integrates motion intention estimation with force feedforward compensation, enabling more intuitive and responsive human–robot collaboration. This work has garnered early recognition with 5 citations since 2024. Additionally, Ai has advanced the control of robotic manipulators under full-state time-varying constraints, employing a composite disturbance observer to improve robustness—a contribution that has already attracted 2 citations. In a more applied vein, Ai designed a novel high-voltage-cable stripping robot to automate a hazardous manual task in electrical distribution maintenance, addressing critical issues of efficiency, safety, and labor intensity. This work, also cited twice, demonstrates Ai’s ability to bridge theoretical control methods with practical engineering solutions. With a growing portfolio that spans from foundational control theory to tangible robotic applications, Wenxu Ai is establishing a reputation for impactful, application-driven research in robotics.
