About
Jiawen Hao is a pioneering researcher in bio-inspired optical tactile sensing for robotics, whose work draws inspiration from the structural coloration of Morpho butterflies to create novel tactile sensors. Hao’s key research areas include biomimetic sensor design, optical tactile perception, and deep learning–enhanced robotic touch.
