About
Isao Hara is a versatile robotics and medical technology researcher whose work spans human-robot interaction, autonomous mobile systems, and surgical robotics. His early contributions centered on developing Jijo-2, a pioneering office-service robot capable of natural spoken dialogue, autonomous navigation, and socially embedded learning — the ability to gather knowledge by interacting with its environment and the people within it.
