About
Irene Fassi is a prominent robotics researcher whose work spans human–robot collaboration, robot safety, and advanced manufacturing automation. Based at the Institute of Intelligent Industrial Technologies and Systems for Advanced Manufacturing (STIIMA) of the Italian National Research Council, Fassi has made sustained contributions to making robotic systems safer, smarter, and more practically deployable across industrial and rehabilitative contexts.
