Giovanni Pioggia is a pioneering researcher at the intersection of robotics, artificial intelligence, and neurodevelopmental disorders, whose work has fundamentally shaped how technology is applied to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) therapy. Based primarily at Italy's National Research Council, Pioggia has dedicated his career to exploring how social robots and interactive technologies can support children with autism in developing emotional understanding and social communication skills.
