About
Corina Radu is a pioneering researcher at the intersection of medical robotics, artificial intelligence, and cancer treatment. Her work focuses on developing robotic systems for minimally invasive oncologic surgery, particularly for non-resectable liver tumors and single-incision laparoscopic procedures (SILS). Radu’s major contributions include the design of the PARASURG hybrid parallel robot—the first of its kind entirely produced in Romania—and the integration of AI-based hazard detection and virtual reality training systems into surgical robotics.
