Dr. Chuliang Yan is a leading roboticist whose work spans wall-climbing, wheel-legged, and continuum robots, with a particular focus on extreme environments—from high-rise buildings to deep space and orbital debris. His most cited work, a comprehensive 2022 review on wall-climbing robots (115 citations), established a foundational framework for the field.
