About
E. Marteau is a planetary robotics researcher whose work sits at the intersection of autonomous systems, space exploration, and planetary surface science. Best known for contributions to NASA's EELS (Exobiology Extant Life Surveyor) project, Marteau has helped pioneer the development of snake-like autonomous robots capable of navigating extreme and unpredictable terrains — most notably the icy surfaces and subsurface vent systems of ocean worlds like Enceladus.
