This article provides a brief overview of robot teleoperation, addressing recent technological advances to enhance operator immersion. Furthermore, we review the most relevant and recent research on teleoperation applications from the past three years. Overall, this article serves as a concise resource for understanding the fundamental concepts and recent advancements in robot teleoperation.
