3G mobile communications for wireless tele-echography robotic system

摘要

A 3G wireless solution for the OTELO system--a wireless tele-echography robotic system is introduced in this paper. Based on the analysis and understanding of the OTELO functional modalities, the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) is introduced in the 3G wireless solution to the OTELO system. The OTELO system architecture identified for OTELO functional modality is illustrated. Quality of Service (QoS) issues for tele-robotic control and teleechography image transmission are also discussed.
