About

Dr. Mehmet Rasit Yuce is a leading innovator at the intersection of wearable sensors, triboelectric nanogenerators, and the Internet of Things (IoT). His research focuses on developing self-powered, flexible sensing systems for human-machine interfaces (HMIs) and healthcare applications. A major contribution is the creation of a self-powered gold nanowire tattoo triboelectric sensor for soft, wearable HMIs, a highly influential work with 128 citations. Dr. Yuce has also pioneered control interface methods using triboelectric nanogenerators, including a patterned grid electrode system (80 citations) and a flexible sliding sensor for wireless IoT control (69 citations).
