About
Luping Chen is a robotics researcher whose work focuses on making industrial robot systems more accessible, flexible, and open. His key research areas include robot control architecture, human-robot interaction interfaces, and the integration of open-source software in manufacturing. Chen’s most notable contribution is the development of a virtual teaching pendant system for serial robots based on the Robot Operating System Industrial (ROS-I).
