Koliya Pulasinghe is a pioneering researcher at the intersection of robotics, artificial intelligence, and human-robot interaction, with a particular focus on speech-controlled systems and assistive technologies. His foundational work on integrating particle swarm optimization with fuzzy-neural networks for voice-controlled robot systems, published in 2005 and garnering over 200 citations, established a novel framework for translating spoken language into precise robotic actions.
