Chengxian Zhou is a leading researcher in robotic embodied intelligence, with a core focus on autonomous grasping, manipulator control, and vision-guided robotics. Zhou’s work addresses fundamental challenges in enabling robots to perceive and interact with complex, unstructured environments. A key contribution is the development of RIGNet (Robot Intention Grasp Network), which uses a multi-task Siamese schema to allow robots to grasp intended targets even in cluttered, densely stacked settings—a critical step toward practical industrial bin-picking and service robotics.
