Hiromichi Omori is a pioneering figure in the field of modular and reconfigurable robotics, best known for his foundational work on the Cellular Robotic System (CEBOT). His research focuses on the design, assembly, and dynamic reconfiguration of robotic manipulators that can autonomously change their structure to suit specific tasks.
