Abstract
Research today is focused on the level of precision required to optimize healthcare that aims to exceed the limits of evidence-based medicine as well as the capacity of the best healthcare professionals. The latter were in a worse state during the pandemic caused by the COVID-19 virus. The lack of means, the rapidity of contamination, the variable nature of the virus are the factors which have negatively influenced the healthcare services in different countries around the world. At the same time, the pandemic has highlighted the need to use new IoT, AI, and robotics technologies to cope with. This chapter has described the influence of COVID-19 on the world of work, especially that of the health sector. Then it details the role of robotics coupled with IoT to fight against the spread of the disease.
