Abstract
Multimodal Underwater Sensing In the murky, dim seabed, a tendon-driven fiber-optic multimodal robotic hand salvages ancient blue-and-white porcelain. Its rigid-soft anthropomorphic fingertips, intricately wrapped with optical fibers, sense temperature, depth, pressure, and slip. AI algorithms enable precise, coordinated multimodal perception for delicate underwater recovery. More information can be found in the Research Article by Juntian Qu and co-workers (10.1002/adfm.202522722).
