Abstract

A research facility for mobile robotics in outdoor conditions has been built by the Technical Research Centre of Finland (VTT) and the Helsinki University of Technology (HUT). This work has been partly done within the ESPRIT II Panorama project EP2483 (Perception and Navigation System for Autonomous Mobile Applications). In this paper the research facility is described and several research topics and results are discussed.< <ETX xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink">></ETX>
