Abstract

Most complex robot applications rely on use of multiple sensors and efficient algorithms. Substantial know-how has been developed for various applications, but very little got implemented in industry. The paper looks into the some of the problems and proposes a flexible and efficient controller interface that provides a platform for the integration of new algorithms and devices into existing industrial hardware.
