Abstract
This paper reviews the state-of-the-art research on multi-robot systems, with a focus on multi-robot cooperation and coordination. By primarily classifying multi-robot systems into active and passive cooperative systems, three main research topics of multi-robot systems are focused on: task allocation, multi-sensor fusion and localization. In addition, formation control and coordination methods for multi-robots are reviewed.
