摘要

Liquid Crystal Elastomer Photoactuators In article number 2309019, Carlos Sánchez-Somolinos and co-workers introduce 4D printing of liquid crystal elastomers with green-absorbing perylene diimide chromophores. Green light irradiation of the elastomer generates far-red absorption bands associated with photogenerated radical species. This allows spatial reconfiguration of the material to far-red light, enabling intricate morphing capabilities with interest in biomedical and soft robotic applications.
